Our FS order came quickly to us to our location in the NE from PA and the Brush Axe is a perfect tool when we tested it to cut down soft wood trees up to 3" dia. Certainly faster and less effort than cutting with a portable saw. We have shopped at FS because they have the kind of tools we have needed for doing work around our farm fields and woodlands. Always friendly, efficient and very pleasant to work with! Highly recommend to anyone for anything!

This is a great tool. It is well made and feels great used with one or two hands. I use it for brush management when a chain saw is overkill and a brush trimmer with a blade is too bulky. 1" trees are no problem and go down with one swipe.

Have used one since the 70s. I have a Frankenstein scar on my right kneecap from a machete ricochet, and have only used the brush axe since. You can hand it to your 15 year old and ask him to cut vines and not worry at all. It is handy and efficient, but after about 5 years the kids start to complain that woods work is hard.

I have been using the swedish safety brush axe for many years. It replaces a machete, and can be nearly as effective as an axe. It is a safe tool!!, Changing the blade or replacing a blade is easy using a block of wood to strike on the new blade set on the "C" bar in a secure location.

I used one of these for 5 years clearing trails and treating exotics. If I only had one tool at my disposal this would be it! I'm getting one now for my personal use. I can hear the privet trembling...

I find this very effective tool, but I am having difficulty in installing a replacement blade. It doesn't slide easily into place, and I cannot compress the two sides of the frame enough to slide the blade on.

Perfect for wild rose, poison ivy and bittersweet. This tool along with a kaiser bank blade have been the perfect wild rose removing combo!

The Brush Axe works great for exotic plant removal, hack and squirt and girdling the plants. It takes pressure off the wrists. The only issue I had was at the end of the day of working with it, it was heavy..

Have had one for years, much safer and easier to use for delimbing etc then a normal axe. Would not want to be without one.
